Three -Dimensional Instructional Materials
1.Specimen and objects-are good substitutes for real objects.we must admit that direct experiences cannot be made available all the time like exploring the ocean floor or the polar regions.
Examples;different kinds of rocks,shells,fish etc.
Points to Consider in using specimen And objects for teaching;
1.Develop purpose of using them
2.Provide opportunities to pupils and students to work with or to manipulate the specimens
3.Present just enough specimens or objects at a time
4.Present the materials in a dramatic way
2.Models and Mock-ups
-are recognizable imitations of the real thing except size,facilitate study of object and processes .which cannot be seen in the objects themselves.
